This initiative empowers every member of our team to take ownership of safety by making smart, proactive decisions whenever something changes on the job. Whether it’s a shift in the task or the environment, we’re encouraging everyone to pause and reassess.

What wasn’t a risk 30 seconds ago could be one now.

Here’s how we’re making safety second nature:

  • Stop - When something changes, pause and consider what new controls might be needed
  • Think - About the current environment and any potential risks
  • Observe - Hazards around you and your colleagues
  • Proceed - Only when it’s genuinely safe to do so

Sometimes, it’s about small, sensible adjustments. Other times, it’s about having the confidence to stop, reassess, and ask for help. 

Making Safety Practical and Accessible

To support the STOP Campaign, we’re rolling out a range of tools and resources for our employees:

  • A streamlined online system for reporting near misses and accidents
  • QR code keyrings for every engineer, plus QR posters in every office for instant access
  • Training videos and clear, easy-to-follow guidance documents
  • Monthly Toolbox Talks to keep safety front of mind

We’re also proud to be working with ROSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents), who are lending their expertise to help shape and strengthen our campaign.
